Code of Conduct
Attendance
. It is
compulsory for all the students to arrive in school atleast 10
minutes before the bell rings at 8 a.m. Latecomers must bring an
application form their parent/guardian.
. It is
obligatory for the student to attend every class on the timetable.
Truancy of any nature shall not be tolerated.
. No Child
can leave the school premises during school hours without the prior
permission of the Principal/Vice Principal Headmistress.
Leave of Absence
. A leave
application signed by the parent or guardian should be sent
preferably on the day of absence, or through the child on the
following day.
. If a student is absent
without intimation for a period of 6 days his/her name will be
automatically struck off the rolls. A child thus struck off the
rolls may be re-admitted at the discretion of the Principal on
payment of the full admission fee, arrears, in full, provided, the
vacancy has not been filled up in the meantime.
. Students suffering
from any infectious disease must complete the quarantine period
before rejoining school. This should be indicated in the medical
certificate.
. Extraordinary leave
during term time may be obtained with the prior permission of the
Principal/Headmistress.
Discipline
The observance of rules of
discipline and good behaviour shall be a condition essential to a
student's continuance in the school.
. Courtesy and
politeness in daily dealings with the members of staff and other
students are essential. No abusive language, rudeness or violence of
any kind will be accepted.
. Personal hygiene and
neatness are essential. Students must wear the proper uniform
everyday. If a student is not in the correct uniform he/she may be
sent home.
. All the homework/class
work/assignments must be done neatly and regularly.
. School property
wilfully damaged or destroyed will be required to be made good. No
student shall scratch or spoil the furniture or scribble on the
walls.
. No Story Books,
periodicals, or comics are to be brought to school. They are liable
to be confiscated.
. Borrowing and lending
of money and exchanging articles is prohibited. Valuable articles
like expensive watches, jewellery etc. are not to be brought to
school. The school does not hold itself responsible for the loss of
such items.
. Students are strictly
prohibited from bringing mobile phones to the school. Those flouting
this rule will be dealt with most severely.
. During the absence of
a teacher from the class, pupils must obey the monitors.
. Silence must be
maintained in the corridors during class hours. When moving from one
room to another, perfect order must maintained.
. At all times, and in
all places, every student is bound to observe the rules of good
manners, both inside and outside the school.
. Pupils are strictly
forbidden from purchasing eatables from vendors/ hawkers outside the
school premises.
Code of Conduct to be followed inside and
outside of school by each student
. To ensure Punctuality
all students have to reach and leave school in time.
. As regularity is the
key to better performance in every field of activity, students must
attend the school on all working days and try to achieve 100%
attendance in school.
. No leave will be
granted without the prior permission of the class teacher.
. All students must wear
the proper school uniform with special attention to personal hygiene
and should keep their nails short without nail varnish. hair well
kept, and wear polished shoes. Boys are not allowed to wear baggy
pants and girls should ensure a respectable length of skirt, and
adhere to the dress code to maintain the decorum of the school. Also
students must wear school uniform on educational tours organised
during school hours.'
. Whenever leaving the
class, the Out pass system is to be strictly followed.
. Chewing bubble gum
& spitting on the floor, writing and marking the walls is
strictly prohibited. Any damage to the school property by the
students will be severely dealt with.
. During the period of
work experience /PT/Library etc. all the students are to go to the
respective departments and not loiter around in the corridors.
Strict action will be taken against the defaulters.
. Students should greet
their seniors and teachers and give them due respect at all times.
. While walking, cycling
or commuting by any other means of transport, students must follow
the traffic rules for their own safety and for the safety of others.
. While travelling by
school transport students should restrain from pushing, bullying
other children and avoid using bad language. They should also take
care of junior students and co-operate with them.
. A Notice in writing to
withdraw a student must be given to the School one month in advance
. If the notice given is
shorter than one month, fees due on the first of the next month will
be charged as well.
. Similarly a student
who wants to discontinue the use of the school bus must give a
month's notice.
. The school will issue
the transfer certificate to a student only when he/she has cleared
